I asked for an evaluation unit, the one that arrived did not work.  They
never replaced it.

If I understand the chemistry correctly it would work well if you had hard
water with lots of carbonates in it and plants that were deficient in
carbonic anhydrase (very rare).  Even then it is quite costly and seems to
require quite a bit of maintenance.  For the right person it might be a
good choice, maybe.
