;) I currently have one of those lights of america incadescent screw in
compact flourescent bulbs that are rated equivalent to 75 watts, something
like 1750 lumens! 2.8KK over my 2.5g tank.  What I found that was very
very odd was these plants would pearl like mad (so would the crypts in
this tank) before I added a B-complex vitamin.  Since then the root growth
has gone balistic.  Where the gravel meets the tank you can clearly see
root growth all around the tank.  

This is a 2.5g octagon molded acrylic tank w/ the above light, diy co2
unit, no temp, no filter, nitrate demand is about 5 ppm weekly (greedy
little plants!)
