Hello, I would advise NOT to eradicate them but to instead reduce there numbers. Since they are not affecting the plants (and they are very helpfull to the ecosystem). There are several ways to reduce there numbers, like making traps, collecting them, giving/selling them away to fellow aquarist or the local pet shop. Oh, btw what type of snails is it? Ed
