[APD] Re: Snails

I love goldfish. I would have them in a heartbeat and they are great snail control. Goldfish were our first choice for snail control when I worked at Petsmart. We would just put one in any tank that had snails that were not suppose to be there and they were gone within a day or two. The only problem is that my tank is heated and goldfish are coldwater fish.

Probably not a viable suggestion for you (which is why I've not
mentioned it before)
but goldfish love snails (at least the large ones do). I have fancy
goldfish and the only
snails that survive are those living in the sump of my wet/dry.

>What other ideas do you have? You might have ideas that no one has suggested yet. Only ideas so far are clown loaches, skunk botias, yo-yo loaches, and puffer fish. I am currently using the skunk botias but they are either not eating the snails or are very slow. For one reason or another I can't keep the other fish in my tank.
