Ditto, they will grow and a great find to boot.  I have one growing now that
was forgotten.  I believe it is Aponogeton longiplumulosus only because it
is sending flower shoots to the surface.  Forgotten because unless they
smell or collapse when pinched I always toss the apon tubers back into
aquaria.
