More California Northern pike stuff from the Internet, this time
from:

http://www.delta.dfg.ca.gov/gallery/pike.html

These lines are taken right from the page:

> Northern pike are a non-native prohibited species in California
> which have been illegally introduced. IT IS NOW ILLEGAL TO POSSESS A
> NORTHERN PIKE IN CALIFORNIA EITHER ALIVE OR DEAD!!!!

> IT IS ALSO ILLEGAL TO TRANSPORT ANY LIVE FISH (OTHER THAN BAITFISH)
> IN CALIFORNIA!!

> If you do catch what you think is a northern pike or a gar, please
> take a picture (if possible) and contact the Department of Fish and
> Game IMMEDIATELY!
