Normally you would cut the Monokote slightly larger than the area you are going to cover just to make sure it fits At the temperature the glue sets at the MonoKote will not shrink. Only after it is has been adhered in place do you add more heat to remove any wrinkles. The instruction that come with the Monokote tell you how to set the iron temperature.
