I have been zapped by Amquel many times. You're right, it does provide quite a shock. I once threw a whole 16 oz bottle across the room after an experience. Needless to say it makes you quite "gunshy" when pouring the Amquel in a tank. Darin Gasperson The Aquatic Greenhouse
