I don't currently quarantine fish (I know it's a good idea, I just don't 
have the equipment and rarely buy new fish anyway.)

At any rate, I bought the fish from PetCo after comparing them with some 
pictures again... they're definitely genuine SAEs. And they're eating algae 
in my tanks, if that proves anything...
