Yes, I agree. I have lost a few by pairing them off in separate tanks and
then getting too much aggression. This time I let them spawn in a large
community tank with other oscars present. I had to remove the granddaddy
oscar so he wouldn't butt in and spawn with the female.
I know, any minute now, someone's going to demand that we're excommunicated
for discussing oscar breeding on the NFC's mail list! :)
