I agree in a lot of ways it is becoming more and more difficult to
collect 50-60 shiners these days I must now travel an hour plus each
way...Let alone trying to collect a dozen sunnies could take two or three
trips...I think a practical solution and something as an organization we
should push WAY more is having ads tell wether a fish is wild caught or
domestic bred...We need to get to the point where the bulk of these fish
are domestic bred as the demand for them is growing and growing faster
than I could ever keep up....Id run out of fish and places to catch them
unless I was willing to go WAY out in the sticks...I will amend my ad to
say WILL TRADE ONLY WITH SERIOUS AQUARIST WITH BREEDING PLANS FOR
INDIVIDUAL SPECIES !......I think this is a great topic for the list so I
will forward this to the list along with your note...Thanks for the input
