RE: NFC: ADMIN - Not Yelling! :) - List Change ... ?

At this point, I think Yahoo is just an addition... It's email
presentation online is more like a laundry list minus the threads (is
that a pun?).

And it includes CHAT which appears to work fairly nicely. I'll be in
chat on and off today :P Would love to talk about live feeds in
general....

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Nativefishconservancy/chat

It's also capable of managing posting of pics by anybody, and numerous
other server perks, which makes maintenance a bit easier since it's
web based, for free, on their server.

Although, I don't think this list should go down because of the
addition of yahoo. I think there are advantages to both.

we also have a bulletin board at :
http://pluto.beseen.com/boardroom/p/53234/
which gets some sporadic interest.

But anyway, this list works well enough too. I recommend using as
many tools as we have volunteers for. Thanks to Josh for managing it!

Josh

The major disadvantage I see to Yahoo is they truncate
long messages, you can receive them from outside yahoo
but if you want to resend it then it gets truncated.

The only way it works for me is to highlight and copy
half and send it then the other half. Roberts articles
all have to go in two parts from my yahoo account.
