NFC: Cast Net, HELP

Hi all,
I am trying to catch some natives with a cast net.  Before I do this though, 
I need to know how to use it.  I understand the basic princible, but things 
like how do you throw it, and what keeps the fish from swimming away when 
you life up the net I don't understand.  Please help, I am clueless!
