Re: NFC: Bullhead cats

The bullheads don't have repeated spawnings, like birds raise more than one
brood in a year, no. At this point in the year, the young are allready
dispearsed from their schools. But a method that also works well is to take a
teeny-tiny chub minnow hook with the barb broken off, baited with a small
piece of nightcrawler. Go and find an overflow pond, a city park pond, or
just about any permanantly filled pond.
It's interesting though, by contrast, female madtoms will visit multiple
males' nest sites, which is kinda like multiple spawnings.
