RE: Feeding Red earthworms

I didn't see where you have fed anything of nutritional value to your worms.
I feed my red worms many items including dry stale bread and bagels,
vegetables, banana peels and compostable items. I do not feed my worms
coffee grounds (IMO makes the soil way too acidic and moldy)or egg shells (
they never break down). I do use shredded paper and cardboard, however it's
not the only things I feed them as you can see. I keep my worm bin in my
basement at about 65 deg. F.
