Norm-

Thanks for the advice. I'll give the cooked grean beans a shot. How quickly do
they multiply (i.e. do they double every two weeks). As far as eating plants,
that would save me a lot of work. I have to dump a total of about 2 lbs of
plant material every two weeks from my 10 gallon and 75 gallon tanks. The
plants grow like weeds and have to be trimmed regularly. If the gammarus do
that for me, all the better. I don't think, however, that they could keep up.
