On the rainbow darters;  I am spawning them over creek run gravel and flat 
rocks with a power head at a little above gravel height.  What I use is a 
Tetra sponge filter on a power head turned upside down.  Water temp is in the 
mid to high 60's.  Live food is fed to the pair almost constantly. The female 
is removed after spawning and the male after the eggs hatch.  The power head 
is moved further up the water column when I see fry.  the fry are fed newly 
hatched brine shrimp three times a day.
