milky water

Hi, I have experienced with milky water for quite some time. It's not the
new tank syndrome. I had this thank for 2 month. It is quite stable.
However, the water look milky, but transparent. It is not crystal clear. I'm
using a 50 Micron filter pad, but it doesn't work. It is very small
particles suspended in the water. I can't get ride of them. I don't want use
diatom filter. Is there anyway to clear up my water.
