The mixture I'm using for my CO2 right now leaves a final by-product that 
smells a lot like cheap champagne.  I suppose it could be 
filtered/pasteurized/distilled further for its alcohol content, but I just dump 
mine down the sink.  I've even offered my recipe to a home brewer, but he 
wasn't very excited about it.  :-)
