No carbonate but polycycloglutaracetal -- it's reportedly
similar enough to intermediary organic compounds that
plants produce/use in processing carbon dioxide to
"finished" products that plants can use it (i.e., Excel) to
produce the finished products. The bonus is that algae
don't use these intermediary chemicals.
