[APD] When to add nutrients?

Okay,
So I generally do my cleaning and water changes in the evening just before 
the tank lights turn off for the night.  My question is, when is the 
appropriate time to resupply the nutrients?  Should I do it then, or wait 
until morning when the lights come back on?  Is there a concern with having a 
tank full of nutrients overnight when the plants aren't going to use them?
