[APD] RE: Aquatic-Plants Digest, Vol 4, Issue 5

I have a saltwater blue - purplish macro algae that looks moss like that
I would be willing to trade or give away. I don't remember the scientific
name at the moment but I can look it up tonight. I have it in a 10 gallon
tank with 2 36watt pc lights - 1 actinic and 1 10,000K. It grows very
easily and attaches itself to any surface - glass, rocks, equipment, etc.
It is very pretty.

Ok now we REALLY need to get a macroalgae trade going.
I think this concept has interested me since I saw
blueish purplish iridescence growing on some
macroalgaes about 40 ft down by catalina and thinking
what the hell is growing on that? we know just so
little about plant diseases or macroalgaes at all for
that matter! i'd like to get some of the diverse
species growing in hawaii. apparently you can take
them back with you without export problems.
