No, you will find that every variety of plant known, and which can be grown
under aquarium conditioons will have its own set of preferred parameters,
which will include intensity, length, and spectrum of lighting, water
temprerature, KH, and, of Course, optimal pH.
But 7.0 is a good starting point for most commonly found plants.
