Hi Lynn, I've had the same ones for several years, and yes, sadly, they will melt down if bothered too much. Everytime I uproot them and transplant, half or more completely melt down. It is really frustrating, especially when they're big and beautiful, to watch them melt to nothing. It took a stand of mine 6 months or more to look good again.
