NFC: Black nosed dace problem

Hello all,
A black nosed dace in my 70 gallon community tank(stone rollers, golden
redhorse, long nosed daces, spotfin shiners, blunt nosed minnows, creek chubs,
and margined madtoms) has over the last week developed a grossly distended
belly.  He looks like he going to burst.  Other than the swelling which is
beginning to bow his back, he seems fine.   Any ideas what the problem might
be?
All the water chem. test fine.  No additions to the tank since last summer.

Also, is there any good way to separate satinfin shiners from spotfins other
than counting anal fin rays?
