Re: NFC: DP -- Collecting Day
Good points. Considering how often I do the "Collector Waltz" after
slipping on rocks, I plan to wear my PFD fishing vest whenever I am in
water involving wading. A PFD could save my life if I stepped off a
drop-off or fell and hit my head. Also, the padding could save me from a
broken rib or two if I slipped and fell on a rock. A PFD vest is not
much of a hindrance and is a cheap insurance policy.
While a cell phone might be nice, it would have to be in a watertight,
padded bag in order to survive a nasty fall that could disable someone.
Could be a lifesaver though in the right circumstances.
