Hey David!

I have collected stigmaeum in TN.  Mine were either females or were not in
breeding color and did not display the blues and reds you see in those
photos.  They were amber and black/brown, colored similarly to E nigrum.
The distinctive thing about them was their elongated head and downward
pointed snout.  I kept some in an aquarium for quite a while.  They did not
seem to be difficult to keep.
