Re: Florida Legislation



Given, a .50 cents increase on a $2 fish is a bit much. :)    However,
even a 5%% tax, as you mentioned, would increase the price from $1.99 to
$2.09, a ten cent increase.  Thats not that much, but the demand for fish
is pretty inelestic.  A 2.99 fish goes to 3.14.  And so on.  A lot of
people aren't going to be willing to pay more for these fish.  As
rediculous as it may seem, a .01 cents increase in the cost of feeder
guppies greatly effects sales.
