Karen I am growing a lot of fruitflies.

I got my wingless from Carolina Biological and their white media.

I got my hydei fruit flies (bigger with wings but can't fly or at least 
they are not supposed to, I think they jump quite far though .....) from 
Ed's Fly Meat Inc, http://www.edsflymeatinc.com/

They also sell media.

I have had what I call good results from Car. Bio media.

The price was right, so I don't mix my own.  time vs money, and I felt 
that the media price was cheap.
