Kordon's Breathing Bags

There was a thread a while ago on one of the lists about Kordon's
Breathing Bags for shipping fish. I stumbled on this Aug. 1997 product
review in the Aquarium Frontiers on-line magazine site:

http://www.aquariumfrontiers.com/1997/aug/product/default.asp

There's an update at the end of the story (undated) that states that the
oxygen transfer rate (OTR) is now up to 1,700. An OTR of 500 is
considered sufficient for shipping fish.

The article also provides some tips on how to ship with these bags as
they differ from traditional plastic bag. For example, don't float the bag
because that would stop the oxygen transfer and suffocate the fish.

Note that the bags were first used for transporting and keeping live food.
