how to kill vinegar eel cultures
I didn't think it was possible, but I managed to kill my vinegar eel
cultures. I didn't have a need to harvest for about 18 months, and when I
checked recently not an eel to be found. During that time I topped up the
apple cider vinegar 2 or 3 times when the levels got to about 1/4 of the
original volume. No new apple slices were added, but there still remained
the blobs that used to be apple pieces.
Just wondering, did I starve them to death during that period, or was the
concentrated vinegar solution the problem?
(any special voodoo dance I can do to ressurect the culture?)
