Bristle worms are often found in  with daphnia. In Wisconsin were I live,
they are found in any pond that has duck weed. If you have a microscope you
would be able to tell as they have hair like spikes running down the body.
As far as I know they are vegetarians and harmless. Many of my killies love
them as their snake like motion in the water seems to trigger an attack.
