books on native Michigan plants
I'm looking for a recomendation on a good book dealing with identifying
aquatic and marginal plants in and around the Michigan area. I have a
couple I've collected and would like to to collect more from the lakes and
streams around here when it warms up (IF it warms up... *shivers*) enough to
do so but I'd like to know what I'm looking at as well. I remember from our
school field trips that the lakes, bogs and fens surrounding where I grew up
are home to several threatened and endangered native plants.
