Contact: Rene Jez. CAPG is a relatively new aquatic plant group based in the nation's capital, Canberra. Bi-Monthly meetings are held in member's homes. It caters for a wide range of interests and skill levels and is open to anyone with an interest in growing freshwater aquatic plants. The Group arranges visits and collecting trips relevant to aquatic plant culture.

Monthly meetings, generally on Mondays. No dues. Contact: Steve Amor. This club, started at the beginning of 1995, discusses planted freshwater aquariums. The meetings are informal, but we often have guest speakers from various plant wholesalers etc. Meetings are held at the Clayfield Aquarium, and all are welcome - both new and experienced aquarists. Secretary - John O\'Neill The Society was formed in 1933 with the object of promoting interest in the study of Aquatic life in the domestic situation.On May 22nd 1971 the Society relocated its headquarters to its own premises at the Grant Street site which it had purchased and renovated in 1970. Our Society is proud of the achievements it has made in developing interest and extending knowledge of fishkeeping through its meetings, publications and displays.
