Antimicrobials for Blue Green Algae Control?

Actually, most pet-fish people will show you where/how you can buy 
Erythromycin under that name or the original (1969) product of Mardel Labs 
Corp... Maracyn... but, please don't go this route (algae/cyanobacteria 
"control" through antimicrobials)... Instead, do look to the root causes of 
these outbreaks... usually too much nutrient, too little light and/or 
circulation... otherwise "out of balance" situations that need to be adjusted 
to the advantage of your vascular plants.... Many downsides to relying on 
Erythromycin... Treat the causes, not symptoms.
