I am still in search of a good CO2 reactor for a 125 gallon tank.  I have
tried just about everything.  I like the idea of having it on the outside of
my aquarium.  Any ideas?  I thought about buying an external one, but they
run about 70$ +/-.

Use your canister filter, just bubble it into the intake and Wa-La!  I do
this with my Magnum 350 and it works better than any reactor/diffuser I have
tried including commercially built ones!  It does not seem to have any
effect on nitrification in the canister filter either.
