Bob, I'm afraid we need a little more info than "Water in my tank became
green." Is it 2 gallons or 500 gallons? Lighting? Fertilizers? Filtration?
Plants? Fish? How long set up? You know the routine.

First thing is don't worry too much. It won't hurt anything.
