OK to freeze flake food?

Sorry if this is off-topic, but wanted to collect opinions about storing
unused flake food in the freezer.  Two issues: (1) We don't run the air
conditioner all the time, despite significant summer and fall humidity
here.  (2) It's taken maybe 18 months to use a 0.4 ounce container of
flake food (other foods fed on weekends) -- maybe the vitamins would
hang around longer if stored below room temperature.  If another list
would be better for the question, you're welcome to suggest it.  TIA
