Hello, I was reading the snail info at http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/natsci/malacology/fl-snail/snails2.htm and noticed that one snail in particular looked similar to my mts the melanoides turricula a.k.a. egyptial freshwater snail, a.k.a. fawn melania. The name I have associated with the mts is melanoides tuberculatus. Question I have is is this the same species or are they close relatives? Ed
