feeding of yamato shrimp

Hello,

Yesterday I received 21 yamato shrimp and immediately upon putting them in
the tank they began eating everything in sight like they havn't been fed
in a long time.  I put a 2" section of hair algae in the tank and this
morning (about 10-12 hours later) it was gone, between my 7 sae's, and 21
yamato shrimp it was devoured, I suspect mostly by the shrimp.  I was
curious as to how much my little buddies can and will be eating.

Tonight they are having boiled carot strips and shinach :) eventually I
hope to get them on some flake food so I can vary there diet.  Any
suggestions on this as well??
