Re:natural sunlight for aquariums

Craig,

I grow aquaium plants in aquaria and ponds illuminated by the sun. I live
at Darwin, 12 degrees south od the equator, just a few hundred kilometers
from Indonesia. I use 70 % shadecloth which keeps the light and temp
down. The aquaria and ponds range from 22 to 28 deg celsius all year and
the plants do very well. I get algae occasionally when I am careless with
the fertiliser. The biggest problems are china graph moth larvae and the
tadpoles of roth's tree frog which devour plants quickly.
