Cleaning Reflector

Hello-

Speaking of cleaning glass, what about cleaning reflectors?  I am using a
dual strip hood with no glass in between it and the water.  Of course it
gets water splashed on it from frolicky fish.  Spots do not come off with
plain cleaners.  It also looks somewhat oxidized in certain areas.  Would I
be better served to rig it with a different reflector? I know there have
been many threads about different reflector types.
