Java Moss tied to driftwood

Does anyone tie their Java Moss to driftwood?  What I want to know is if
it will eventually attach itself to the wood.  Next time my LFS gets
some, I want to buy a nice piece of wood and setup a tank to grow it out
and then place it in one of my tanks.  I know the fontalis (?sp) grows
attached to wood, not sure about Java Moss.

BTW, if someone is ready to throw out some Java Moss, Bolbitis
heudelotii, or Fontinalis antipyretica (Willow Moss), I'd appreciate
some 'scraps'.  Just contact me off-list.
