Keeping pop bottles warm

One method that I have used with a decent amount of success is to keep my
yeast bottles next to my Coralife Ballasts which are mounted in my stand.
During the lighted times, the ballasts heat up and the yeast bubbles away.
At night, the ballasts cool and the yeast cuts down its production. Seems
like a simple solution.
Hopefully I will have some feedback on my use of Profile's Aquatic plant
soil soon.
I had to move my 55 gallon, so I ripped out the kitty litter and covered the
bottom with the Profile. It is actually pleasant looking (natural) and I am
waiting on plants to plant.
