Re: pH meter calibration



I wouldn't use distiller H2O for calibration because CO2 dissolves
readily in water, which will lower the pH.  I remember doing this in my
Chem. 101 class last year.  We used a pH probe to measure the pH of
distilled H2O and got readings as low as 6.4.  I would use a pH 7 buffer
to calibrate your pH meter.
