Do these shrimp eat snail eggs too?  It's amazing what damage snails can do.
I have little holes in all the tender leafed plants.  I've been picking
snails out by hand every day so there are not that many left, but if the
shrimp eat the egss, then I'll have the snail problem beat.

They seem to be very eager consumers of algae and they are not interested in
baby guppies (at least not yet, and hopefully never).
