Hi all,

I run 2 fluval 403's and after cleaning them--in order to get them
started w/o any sucking or siphoning action, I fill up the canister as
full as I can w/water, then before reconnecting the tubings, take a cup
of water and fill up the tubing that is still connected to the top of
the cannister--until no more water can be fit into the cannister--then
reconnect the tubing, turn on the filter and wait.  W/in a few minutes,
the water makes it up the tubing and into the tank and starts to
work--all on its own ;)
