sigh...laterite
I guess we have established that laterite is available
to North Americans from other than Dupla.
However, I originally bemoaned the loss of Dupla
balls (Duplarit K), not laterite in general. Once you
have an established tank, the balls are very handy to
push into the substrate every 3-6 months. The plants
respond really well to this.
It's not possible to push crumbled laterite (Substrate
Gold, etc.) into a water-filled, established aquarium.
Guess I didn't make this clear.
Anyway, I personally, await impatiently the return of a
Dupla supplier, since those Dupla balls are so useful.
