Re: 100 small white worms



Thanks to all that responded. Paul was asking about segments or blood 
flukes, but my friend at work is a microbiologist and confirmed they 
were small planaria. You could clearly see two eye spots on the head 
and they tended to secure themselves with their tail end. You could 
even see their internal parts under the microscope and they compared 
nicely to illustrations we have. 

For an update, I could only find a couple this morning. This leads me 
to believe, they're dying or being eaten. I guess it was a false 
scare, but anyway, I still hate small things that look like parasites 
in my tanks. Let this be a warning to all you parasites!!!
