Search engines
Two of my favorite search engines are http://www.askjeeves.com/ and
http://www.infind.com/ Ask Jeeves will surf through several engines on its
own and give you those results also. Both of the above seem to be able to
narrow into what you actually are looking for, without getting so specific
that you miss stuff. I've all but stopped using Alta Vista in favor of these
other two, just because Alta Vista picks up so much crap along the way.
